Role Play Guidelines
- Please follow these rules when Role Playing in the RPing board -


1. No Power Playing. This means you don't control another member's character's actions unless they give you permission in a post in the RP thread itself, not lin a PM or an IM. This way people aren't confused why you're playing the character.
This is also an example of Power Playing:
A: Jumps into the air and attacks Player B, hitting them square on the back and knocking them to the ground.
In this situation, Player B had no control over the attack from Player A. They had no chance of defending or countering.
Instead, play it like this:
A: Jumps into the air and attacks Player B, trying to hit them on the back to knock them to the ground.
Then Player B and choose to either receive the attack or defend.


2. When you are going to make a new RP, the first post must include:
Plot: (what's going to happen in the RP)
Available Characters: (a list of the main characters available, please cross out the ones that are taken. This is optional, there does not have to be any main characters in a RP)
OC: (a list of characters people made-up that are being used)
OC Form: (what people must include about their other character - OC)


3. If an RP thread has been going on for more than one page and you decide to join, look at the first page to see what characters are still available and what the plot is. Don't post in the thread asking the players to explain, you can easily do it yourself.

4. To expand on number 3 above, if you are joining a long RP thread please read back a few posts or pages so you know what's going on. Don't post in OOC (out of character) a bunch of times asking the RPers.

5. Mild cursing is allowed in both OOC and IC (in character), but no bashing/flaming.

6. Before you start posting in a RP the creator must accept you and add your character on the list.

7. You may RP about anything you like as long as it's somehow related to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

8. If you have an OC that you RP most of the time, please post their profile in the 'Character Profiles' board so you don't have to post their profile every time you join a new thread. When you want to RP the character just post a link to the profile.
